Job Description Summary

The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all the day-to-day operational activities of the Bank under the direction of the President and Chief Executive Officer. The position ensures that all operational aspects of the Bank's activities operate in a safe and sound manner in the best interest of shareholders, the Board of Directors, customers, employees, and the public. Supervises and works closely with management to ensure the operational effectiveness, sustainability and resiliency of the Bank, driving change and improvement by convening, informing, supporting, influencing and mentoring; ensures all Bank operations are effectively integrated to achieve best possible outcomes; develops and implements strategies to accommodate current and future organizational plans, programs, and needs. Provides the highest level of customer relations and service; and ensures compliance with Bank policies, procedures and processes. Performs supervisory duties of department staff, coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.
