Job Description Summary The Chief Information Technology Officer is responsible for managing the Bank's technology resources and support facilities, including the Bank's mainframe computer system, local, wide, wireless, Internet, and Intranet networks, telephone and Voice Over IP (VoIP) systems, and all related software programs. Plans, organizes, and controls the Bank's day-to-day information technology resource activities; collaborates with the Chief Operations Officer in the overall administration of these directives for the Bank. Ensures the Bank's information technology activities are secure and stable, used to help maximize profits commensurate with the best interest of shareholders, customers, employees, and the public. Major Bank functions reporting to the position of Chief Information Technology Officer include data processing, electronic banking, Internet banking, information technology, central services, special projects, and other departments or functions as designated. Develops and implements information technology architecture strategies to accommodate current and future organizational needs. The position of Chief Information Technology Officer assists in attaining established Bank operational and financial goals. Performs supervisory duties of department staff and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.
