What's New

Topic 13 - Audit Policy. This topic references a financial institution's requirement to conduct periodic independent audit reviews under its information systems security program.

Topic 14 - Staff Training. Formerly a subtopic under the "Access to E-Mail" topic (User Training), this topic provides sample guidance for the initial and ongoing periodic training of financial institution personnel.

What's Revised

Topic 5 - Access to E-Mail. The "User Training" subtopic was deleted and is now located as Topic 14 - Staff Training.

Topic 12 - CAN-SPAM Policy. A new subtopic entitled "Definitions" was added. In addition, the following subtopics were revised:

General - Completely revised and greatly expanded to include detailed guidance.
