*New topic incorporates the entire Incident and Response and Preparedness subject.

General. A new second paragraph was added referencing a financial institution's Human Resources General Policy with respect to background checks. In addition, a new fifth paragraph was added that expands upon the detection of technical threats.

Incident Response Team. Formerly included in the General subtopic, a new opening paragraph was added to provide a general overview purpose. In addition, a final paragraph was added to reference a financial institution's contact list.

Corrective Standards. Item 1. was expanded to include an assessment of how containment actions will affect business operations. A new Item 2. provides requirements for documenting details, conversations and actions. A new Item 4. requires that a financial institution's legal counsel be contacted.

Recovery and Risk Mitigation Analysis. This new subtopic was added to provide additional measures to determine if changes are warranted, test affected systems or procedures, conduct a "lessons learned" meeting, and return affected systems and/or processes to operation.
