Loan Quality Control Officer

Job Description Summary

The Loan Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring the Bank maintains a sound loan portfolio with respect to compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, and Bank lending policies and procedures; reviews consumer, residential, equipment, SBA, commercial and mortgage loan requests and related documentation for accuracy and compliance prior to customer signature and boarding; conducts activities related to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA); promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. The position of Loan Quality Control Officer assists the Bank's Compliance Officer in attaining established lending compliance goals as directed by Senior Management. May participate in special lending-related projects as directed by Senior Management.
