Topic 9 - Staff Training. This new topic includes training responsibilities and related activities, including all financial institution personnel, marketing department personnel, and the board of directors.

What's Revised

Topic 3 - Structure of Accountability. The "Marketing Officer" subtopic was revised to include Marketing Department oversight responsibilities in the first paragraph and new bullet point 12. In addition, a new "Compliance Officer" subtopic was added to provide an overview of related responsibilities.

Topic 6 - Do Not Call Policy. New subtopics entitled "Definitions" and "Audit Policy" were added. In addition, the following subtopics were revised:

General Requirements - New bullet point 7. was added while bullet points 1., 1. D., 6., 9. and 10. were revised.

Bank Telemarketing Activities - New bullet points 2. and 3. were added and the final paragraph was revised.

Topic 8 - Audit Policy. Slight changes were made to this brief topic to reference a financial institution's requirement to conduct periodic independent audit reviews of its compliance related marketing activities.
