The update to these products is in response to guidance issued by the CFPB entitled "Transfer of Rule Making Authority - Fair Debt Collection Practices Act," "Transfer of Rule Making Authority - Regulation M," and "Transfer of Rule Making Authority - Regulation P"  dated December 21, 2011 which transfers rule making authority to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  In addition, these updated products contain guidance in response to the CFPB Announcement entitled "A Guide to CFPB's Supervision" issued on October 13, 2011 that provides a guide for bureau examiners to use in overseeing companies that provide consumer financial products and services.
